Getting Started
Get Azra running in your server and configured in under 5 minutes.

Quick Start#
Five steps from zero to a fully configured server.
-
1
Invite the Bot
Click Add to Discord on the landing page and select your server. Grant Administrator permission for full functionality — anti-nuke, channel recovery, and captcha need elevated access.
-
2
Bot Auto-Provisions Your Server
On first join the bot automatically:
- Creates a guild record in the database
- Grants a free 1-month Pro trial with all features unlocked
- Takes an automatic snapshot of your server structure (channels & roles) — run
/snapshot takeany time for a full backup that also includes emojis, stickers, AutoMod rules, events and server settings - Sets up default moderation configuration
-
3
Sign In to the Dashboard
Visit the dashboard URL and click Sign In with Discord. After OAuth, you'll see all servers where you have Manage Server permission. Click your server to open its config panel.
-
4
Configure Features
Each feature has its own dashboard page. Navigate via the sidebar to set up moderation rules, welcome messages, leveling, tickets, and more. Changes save instantly — no bot restart required.
-
5
Set Up Mod Logging (Recommended)
Go to Server Config and configure a moderation log webhook. Every action — warn, ban, kick, automod trigger — will be posted there as a rich embed. You can route each event type to a different channel.
What happens when the trial ends#
How Sign-In Works#
Discord OAuth2 — no password stored, no separate account needed.
The dashboard uses a server-side session cookie. Your Discord access token is never sent to the browser — only your username, avatar, and user ID.

Every feature has a dedicated configuration page. No commands needed for setup.

Who can open the dashboard#
Text Commands (Prefix & @Mention)#
Most features are configured from the dashboard and used via slash commands, but a curated subset of everyday commands also works as plain text — triggered by your server's prefix or by @mentioning the bot.
Two ways to trigger#
!ban @user spamming
@Azra ban @user spamming
Both forms run the exact same logic as the slash command — same subscription gate, same permission checks, and the same entries in your moderation log and audit trail.
Changing your prefix#
-
1
From Discord
Run
!prefix ?(or@Azra prefix ?) to set the prefix to?. Requires Manage Server. Run!prefixwith no argument to view the current one. -
2
From the Dashboard
Go to Server Config and update the prefix field (1–10 characters, no spaces). Changes apply within a few seconds.
Available Text Commands#
Run !help in your server for the live list. Anything that needs a pop-up form (mass-mod, rank-card background, creating a giveaway) stays slash-only.
